Hello World!
Long time no see. I haven’t been on here in a minute and to be honest, I don’t feel great about that. You see, this time I let things get to me. This time I fell short and it took a long time for me to stand back up. However, I am here now and we’re gonna talk about what that means for others that may face the same thing.
A lot of times I will see people do something that I have also been guilty of….quitting. Many times throughout our lives we fall short and it takes us a long time to get back up especially when it comes to the journey God has called us to. There are a lot of feelings that plague you and they can be very difficult to navigate. So many can consume you if you allow them, but that is where Jesus steps in. Before I started writing tonight I kept going back and forth with the idea of, I’ve fallen down and I don’t even know how or if I can get back up and walk the journey that God has laid out for me but here I am. After a lot of sitting with myself, praying, fighting the spiritual warfare in my mind, there came a wash of peace. All of a sudden a wave of clarity hit and I could breathe again. This my brothers and sisters was nothing better than the mercy and grace of Jesus as he reminded me that I am never alone. For without him I have nothing but with him I have everything.
With all of this being said, I encourage you to face the storm head on and know that Jesus is with you through it. I encourage you to get back up when you don’t know if you can. I encourage you to pray for clarity and take the biggest breath when God shows his grace as you come to finish your journey by walking with Jesus. He has called you to walk the path he has laid before you. There’s much more in store for you and it’s nothing short of amazing.
