Hello World!

I want to share with you the reasoning behind this site and how it helps keep me grounded in my journey with God.

Some time ago I sat praying as I poured out my heart to The Lord for all of the things I have struggled with in the past and for things that I had in the moment. At first my prayer wasn’t something drastic. I had prayed before and I believed that Jesus was my Lord and Savior but for some reason I could never get past this wall I had built when it came to following him. That night as I continued to pray the Holy Spirit engulfed me and the next thing I knew, I was begging Jesus to grab a hold of me and my life and never let go. I don’t think I fully realized it in the moment but that prayer changed my life.

For as long as I could remember I always felt as though I saw God through frosted glass. I always knew he was there but there was always something between us. Sometimes I could see him clear as day, but most of the time it was like the glass remained frosted over. However, after this prayer, the frost cleared and the glass shattered. I no longer felt as though he was just watching my life, I now felt like he was life. Like The Lord was the very air I breathed.

As time has passed, I am still in awe of the things he has done in my life which leads me to how this site came about. You see, shortly after the glass had shattered, I called out to The Lord asking for the opportunity to serve him and help others in their journey. Before I knew it, I received my answer. The love for writing, whether I am good at it or not, was the gift meant to help others. To tell you the truth, I was scared out of my mind when I first started this site but as it directs us to do, I fully trust in him.

I trust that this site will reach those he needs it to reach. I trust that this site will be a tool used for The Lord to further the kingdom of Heaven. So my brothers and sisters, I challenge you to pray for The Lord to consume your life. Let him use you as you pray to serve him. Let him utilize the gifts he has given you to further the kingdom of Heaven. Ask him for the honor of being able to serve him so you may help in furthering the Kingdom of Heaven. To tell you the truth, this is one of the greatest honors he has ever given me and I am forever thankful.
