John 10:29 “No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”
As I read this verse in my Bible study this morning this verse stuck with me pretty heavy. As someone who values protection over many things in my life, it solidified the role that Jesus and God hold within my life. It solidified how we belong to the Father and are truly his children. It solidified how protective he is over those he calls his and this brought me great peace. For someone who has always been the one to protect others, it feels so freeing to feel protected by someone who knows me better than I know myself. To be protected and belong to someone who is the strongest, most powerful, gracious, and most loving there ever was, is and ever will be.
There is no one that can take me away from him. He will protect no matter what. He will always be there for me and with me. That is a love I can’t even comprehend and yet I am so beyond thankful that I and everyone else who comes to him and loves him gets to call him Father and experience the true love and protection he has WANTS to give us.
